About your Overdraft Privilege

New Federally Regulated laws are changing consumer overdraft privilege programs regarding ATM and Debit Card transactions.  The new laws will become effective August 15, 2010.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT YOU?

You will no longer have access to overdraft privilege funds for your ATM or Debit Card transactions unless you have notified us that you want to continue receiving this service.  Currently, the amount of funds available for your transaction approval at the merchant’s place of business includes the designated overdraft amount assigned to your account.

What does this mean?  For example: If your current account balance is $75 and you go to the grocery store and spend $80, using your debit card, your transaction will be denied.
