IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain,  verify,  and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

At ValueBank Texas, we recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of those persons using our web site. We know that maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of financial information is important to our customers and strive to protect your privacy when you use our on-line services.  Please read the following paragraphs which outline our policy. Information Collection

In general, we collect information regarding visits to our web site, including sessions by network identity, network location and IP address for statistical information only. If you do not interact with us by submitting information, we do not collect data such as your e-mail address nor do we use cookies to gather information of where you have been.  If you have provided personal identifying information via e-mail (such as name and address), the information will only be used to communicate with you to handle your request. It is not sold or transferred to other parties.

Online Banking using Precision Computer Systems (CSI)

When you bank online with ValueBank Texas using CSI, the bank and the company that we work with to provide the service have access to your personal information. However, online banking is secure and requires a user I.D. and password to access accounts.

Third Parties

We do not sell personal information to third parties for the purpose of solicitation. At times, however, we may share information with outside companies that assist us in providing our customers with ValueBank Texas’ products and services. In these instances, the company is working on behalf of ValueBank Texas and the information remains confidential.

Keeping Information Accurate

Keeping your account information accurate and up to date is very important. If you ever find that your account information is incomplete, inaccurate or not current, please call or write to us at the telephone number or address listed on your account statement. We will correct any erroneous information as quickly as possible.

Offering You Choices

To make your financial life easier, we offer you different ways to manage your money. You also have choices when it comes to learning about new offers and services. For example, you can choose not to receive notification about any offers made by mail, telephone or e-mail. You can also choose not to have information from an application or an outside source, such as a credit report, shared within our family of companies.
